Spinach and Cheese Omelette Fingers
For bubs 6 months plus:Start off with large strips that bub can easily grasp their hands around.
For bubs around 9 months:You can start to cut the omelette strips into smaller pieces as bub's pincer grip develops.
Suitable once bub has successfully been introduced to egg.
Avocado rolled in hemp seeds
For bubs 6 months plus:Larger pieces of avocado will be easier for bub to hold eg avocado halves.
For bubs around 9 months:You can start to cut avocado into smaller pieces as their pincer grip develops.
Blueberries
For bubs 6 months plus:You can also cook blueberries to make them softer for younger bubs. It will be hard for bubs this age to pick up blueberries so they may need to be spoon feed.
For bubs around 9 months:As bubs pincer grip develops around this age babies should be able to start picking up flattened blueberries.
NOTE: Blueberries are a choking hazard and should not be served whole until bub is over 12 months and you are comfortable with their chewing skills and know that they won't shove heaps into their mouth. Always supervise bub while eating.
