This Apple Berry Crumble is a nutritious and delicious treat, packed with immune-boosting fruits, whole grains, and healthy fats, perfect for toddlers aged 12 months and up.

Ingredients

3 apples, peeled and diced
2 cup frozen mixed berries, chopped smaller if needed
Juice of ½ orange
2 weetbix, crushed
¾ cup rolled oats
1 tbsp Nourishing Bubs Tree Nut Maintenance mix
1 tbsp wholemeal flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
15g sultanas

Directions

Turn the oven on to 170 degrees celsius.
To a deep baking tray, add the apple and frozen berries. Squeeze the juice of a orange over the fruit and toss to coat.
To a bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and mix together until it forms small clumps (using your hands works best). Evenly spread on top of the fruit, keeping it quite compact.
Bake for 30-35 mins until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
Serve with yoghurt.

Recipe Note

Best suited from 12 months + due to the crunchy texture of the crumble.

If serving to bubs under 12 months remove the crunchy crumble and stir in some Tree Nut Maintenance mix if they have been successfully introduced to all 9 tree nuts.
